Slam Cartel announce the release of their third single from debut album Handful of Dreams: haunting track Breathe \u2013 already a favourite with critics and fans \u2013 will be released via digital outlets on 21st August. To support the release, the band will be hitting the road for their first full UK tour, also called \u201cBreathe\u201d, visiting venues and festivals across the country over the rest of 2012 to give fans what they have been asking for, for a long time\u2026 Slam Cartel LIVE. Additional shows are still being scheduled. <\/p>\n
Since Handful of Dreams was released in 2011, Slam Cartel have been steadily conquering press and public with their now familiar true rock sound, combining memorable hooks and incendiary riffs. It\u2019s a hard debut to follow; the band will be working on new material soon, but first they\u2019re determined to give the UK audience an opportunity to witness their much praised live shows.<\/p>\n
Handful Of Dreams was produced by George de Angelis (Trevor Horn\u2019s right hand man for many years) and influenced by the likes of The Cult, Chilli Peppers, Guns\u2019n\u2019Roses and the Foo Fighters to name but a few; every track is packed with powerful melodies and heavy guitars, a combination that will charm the radio listener and agree with the more demanding rock fan.<\/p>\n
