Born and raised in the Black Country, Joanne was first discovered by Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) as a 16-year-old guitar prodigy. Now, one of the hottest young names in British Blues, Joanne\u2019s UK tour will see her performing new tracks from Almost Always Never, alongside songs from her two previous albums – White Sugar (2009) and Diamonds in the Dirt (2010).<\/p>\n
In 2010 and 2011, Joanne was voted \u201cBest British Female Vocalist\u201d at the British Blues Awards. Her new album is produced in Austin, Texas by the legendary Mike McCarthy (Spoon, …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Patty Griffin), features David Garza (keyboards), Billy White (bass, guitar) and J.J. Johnson (drums). Previously, Garza has worked with the Fiona Apple, Juliana Hatfield, and Blues Traveller, while J.J. Johnson has played with John Mayer.<\/p>\n
Tristan Mackay self recorded and released his first two EPs \u201cTales From A Bedroom Orchestra\u201d and \u201cLive From The Lounge\u201d to critical acclaim.
