To mark the 40th anniversary of their formation in Stockport in \u201972, Universal Music will release a five-disc box set entitled \u2018Tenology\u2019 by era-defining pop maestros 10cc on 19th November 2012. Curated by the four original members \u2013 Lol Creme, Kevin Godley, Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart, \u2018Tenology\u2019 features four CDs (two discs of singles, one of selected album tracks, and a further one of B-sides and rarities) and a DVD (featuring all the groundbreaking promo videos and TV performances on Top Of The Pops, BBC In Concert, See You Sunday, Six Fifty Five Special and Pebble Mill). <\/p>\n
The packaging for \u2018Tenology\u2019 has been exclusively designed – with input from the four original 10cc \u2013 by legendary British graphic designer Storm Thorgerson, who, as part of Hipgnosis, worked extensively with the band in the 70s and later designed the band\u2019s \u201995 album Mirror Mirror. The set also contains a 8500 word essay by Guardian writer and lifelong fan, Paul Lester, and features new interviews. <\/p>\n
