{"id":2314,"date":"2013-01-15T17:47:20","date_gmt":"2013-01-15T17:47:20","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2013-01-15T17:47:20","modified_gmt":"2013-01-15T17:47:20","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.livestagemusic.com\/?p=2314","title":{"rendered":"Vega album news plus tour dates with FM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>VEGA ANNOUNCE SECOND STUDIO ALBUM, \u2018WHAT THE HELL!\u2019, TO BE RELEASED VIA SPINEFARM RECORDS\/NINETONE ON MARCH 11TH 2013 + UK TOUR DATES WITH FM\u2026<\/p>\n<p>UK ROCKERS Vega have confirmed a March 11th release for their second studio album, \u2018What The Hell!\u2019; this will be the band\u2019s first release for Spinefarm Records\/Ninetone, and is the follow-up to their 2010 outing, \u2018Kiss Of Life\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Vega &#038; co-produced &#038; mixed by John Greatwood (Entombed, Corroded, etc.), the new album features 14 tracks and, according to frontman Nick Workman, each one of them was given a thorough work-out prior to inclusion\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe thing is, we wanted to write an album where every song could be considered as a single. We pretty much demoed each one twice before we were satisfied, and we were fortunate enough to have Joe Elliott cast his ear over some of the demos \u2013 his comments were a massive influence on our individual performances\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlso,\u201d continues drummer Dan Chantrey, \u201cwe decided to record through the night, as we felt that the atmosphere was more in keeping with the tone of the songs. We would start the session with a huge caffeine injection and then push on until we fell asleep behind the drums, the mic, guitars or whatever&#8230;\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Track-listing for \u2018What The Hell!\u2019<\/p>\n<p>1.
