The Island of Freedom will also set a new record in the number of nationalities represented at the event, as presales ticket buyers come from a total of 102 countries. The Budapest-based major festival has attracted a growing number of visitors for the last years and \u2013 in spite of an increased capacity \u2013 has already sold all 5 Days and 7 Days Passes for the 2016 edition. All Sziget passes include camping possibility, so the organizers also wanted to make sure Szitizens staying onsite can find enough places for their tents.<\/p>\n
\u20182016 is clearly a record-breaking year for us. We\u2019ve never sold so many tickets so quickly, which is good for the company as well. Besides working as hard as we can, we\u2019re also very proud of the fact that fans from all over the world trust us and join us for this magic week!\u2019 \u2013 said Tamas Kadar, CEO of Sziget Cultural Management. \u2018Of course we\u2019re also happy to welcome visitors with day tickets, but I would like to urge everybody not to leave buying these at the last moment, because the quantity is limited\u2019.<\/p>\n
