Let us go back to hell! HELLFEST, the famous French metal festival, of which the popularity has not waned over the years (all the 2019 tickets were sold in just a couple of hours!), once again offers a line-up as diverse as it is amazing that will for sure delight metalheads hailing from all over the world. So, prepare your sunscreen, alcoholic beverages and hearing protection (for the most cautious among you), because it is going to hurt! To quote JUDAS PRIEST, who headlined the festival last year: HELLFEST, you give us pain, but you bring us pleasure.<\/p>\n

Talking about headliners, let\u2019s start by pointing out what the major event of this festival will undoubtedly be: the eagerly awaited return to the first main stage of MANOWAR! Indeed, it\u2019s already been ten long years since the last time the one-and-only Kings of Metal set foot on Clisson\u2019s soil. The concert they will give next June promises to be a majestic spectacle of True Metal.<\/p>\n

Of course, another long-awaited return is that of TOOL, who came to Europe for the last time no less than twelve years ago. There is no doubt that the crowd will properly welcome them back, as well as get a heavy rush from their complex and colorful progressive metal. One more important piece of news: thrash metal legends SLAYER will give the last French show of their career during the festival. Two events not to be missed under any circumstances!<\/p>\n

That said, older headbangers and other lovers of a more traditional kind of hard rock can rejoice too because the illustrious likes of KISS, DEF LEPPARD, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, and ZZ TOP will come to honor us with their presence over the course of that bender of a weekend. Another point to underline is a first in the festival\u2019s history: \u00a0the second main stage will host la cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me<\/i> of French metal for a whole day, which will end with what will certainly turn out to be one of the most epic shows ever given by the giants GOJIRA.<\/p>\n

The four smaller stages will definitely not be neglected, as they will also host many of the genre’s biggest names: while killer bands such as EMPEROR, CARCASS, BLOODBATH, and DEICIDE will set the resolutely extreme metal-oriented Altar and Temple stages on fire, the pretty punky Warzone and slightly smoky Temple stages will be the setting of many exciting adventures to be lived in the company of bands such as SUM 41, REFUSED, FU MANCHU and CULT OF LUNA.<\/p>\n

Obviously, this is but a mere overview of the countless surprises this unique festival has in store. At HELLFEST, there is something for everyone. What is there to add, except that it truly is an unforgettable experience that our team can\u2019t wait to share with you guys one more time. Either it is waging war in the eye of the pit\u2019s dust storm or comfortably sipping wine in the infamous \u201cKingdom of Muscadet\u201d, like hell we will meet there!<\/p>\n
