Kvar sedan starten 1985 \u00e5r s\u00e5ngaren Russ Anderson och gitarristen Craig Locicero, d\u00e4rut\u00f6ver har Matt Camacho varit basist sedan 1987 och gitarristen Steve Smyth \u00e4r \u00e5terkommande medan trummisen Mark Hernandez bara varit med n\u00e5gra \u00e5r. Jag minns bandet som FORBIDDEN EVIL och hur de gav ut skivor som \u201dForbidden Evil\u201d och \u201dTwisted Into Form\u201d. Fr\u00e5gan \u00e4r om de kan matcha klassikerna, har utvecklats och om alla musiker \u00e4r i form. <\/p>\n<p>\u201dAlpha Centauri\u201d inleder, \u00e4r det m\u00f6jligen UFOS \u201dNo Place to Run\u201d jag f\u00e5tt i spelaren? Nej, detta melodiska gitarrbaserade intro \u00e4r FORBIDDENS och ingen annans. Jaja, likheterna med 80-talet i England f\u00f6rsvinner snart i Bay Area-doftande, men moderniserade, \u201dForsaken at the Gates\u201d. Bandet \u00e4r inte riktigt s\u00e5 bitande som de var p\u00e5 \u00e5ttiotalet, men de har f\u00f6rfinat sig lagom mycket. Titelm\u00e4ssigt \u00e4r det bara \u201dSwine\u201d som inte k\u00e4nns thrashigt. R\u00f6stexperimentet i \u201dOverthrow\u201d \u00e4r jag inte \u00f6verf\u00f6rtjust i, rytmen \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 modernare, men det \u00e4r nog bra att de inte bara tar en tripp p\u00e5 nostalgins vingar. Samtidigt \u00e4r de v\u00e4l f\u00f6rankrade i thrashtraditionen, b\u00e5de 80- och 90-tal. Gunget \u00e4r det inte heller n\u00e5got fel p\u00e5 heller. En f\u00f6rsiktig modernisering kommer att hj\u00e4lpa dem att f\u00e5 unga fans som samtidigt uppt\u00e4cker deras tidigare skivor. Faktum \u00e4r att det \u00e4r de n\u00e5got modernare l\u00e5tarna som ger mig mest, b\u00e5de \u201dHopenosis\u201d och \u201dDragging My Casket\u201d \u00e4r starka och gingiga l\u00e5tar. Ett par bleka sp\u00e5r finns ocks\u00e5, men det mesta \u00e4r solitt och titell\u00e5ten \u00e4r utm\u00e4rkt.
