DARKWATER bildades 2003 och 2007 kom debuten \u201cCalling the Earth to Witness\u201d. Melodi m\u00f6tte progressivitet med inspiration av SYMPHONY X, DREAM THEATER och EVERGREY. Bandet best\u00e5r av Henrik B\u00e5th, s\u00e5ng, Markus Sigfridsson, gitarr, Simon Andersson, bas, ex. PAIN OF SALVATION, Magnus Holmberg, keyboards och Tobias Enbert, trummor. Ett m\u00e4sterverk utlovas, vi kollar.<\/p>\n
Videol\u00e5ten \u201dBreathe\u201d ligger f\u00f6rst, lagervis med keyboards ramar in ett finst\u00e4mt riff. Henriks r\u00f6st \u00e4r mycket njutbar, liksom refr\u00e4ngen. Ljudet av Fredrik Nordstr\u00f6m och Henrik Udd p\u00e5 Studio Fredman \u00e4r utm\u00e4rkt, till och med p\u00e5 mina datafiler vilket inte \u00e4r alltid. Jag f\u00e5r k\u00e4nslan av FATES WARNING kring \u201dParallells\u201d, och det \u00e4r inte illa. Midtempo \u00e4r det vanligaste tempot p\u00e5 skivan, det blir bara rockigare i \u201dQueen of the Night\u201d och \u201dWithout a Sound\u201d. Dessutom g\u00e5r keyboarden alltid i DREAM THEATER-tonarten eller modell vattendroppar. Lite kritik till trots \u00e4r detta v\u00e4lspelat och trivsamt rakt igenom, och kr\u00e4ver inte n\u00e5got enorm inlyssning f\u00f6r att g\u00e5 hem. Jag saknar lite tempovariation, men det har ju aldrig hindrat FATES WARNING. DARKWATER h\u00e4vdar sig v\u00e4l mot sina f\u00f6rebilder, och s\u00e4tter en bra standard f\u00f6r hur produktion b\u00f6r l\u00e5ta 2010\/11. <\/p>\n
