A few hours before the show I found out that Black Spiders are the support band, which doesnt really come as a shock as I’ve lost count of how many support slots and festival appearances they’ve racked up in the last couple of years. They put on their usual energetic performance complete with the obligatory…

They took to the stage considerably earlier than advertised, but the venue was already pretty busy when they came on. A backdrop limited them to using the…

Tracer are a rock band from Australia. If you’re already thinking they’ll sound like ACDC, Airbourne and Rose Tattoo, Australia’s best known rock exports then you’re completely wrong I’m afraid. Tracer blend 90’s stoner rock with 70s hard rock to produce some great music. The band formed in 2004 after the collapse of The Brown…

The evening started with some bad news – Arkona weren’t going to be playing. We heard later that this was due to visa problems which prevented them getting into the country. Tonights opening band was Winter in Eden playing their first London show. The band are a man short as their bassist has just become a father. Their brand of symphonic metal goes down very well with the fans. Singer Vicky has an excellent voice and really puts in a great performance. For anyone who missed…
