Madness Wacken – Sold Out for the ninth time in a row!!!

Today we can confirm that Wacken Open Air is SOLD OUT for the ninth time in a row!!!

And regarding the pre-sale time we have overcome the previous year by many times. We never had expected to reach the total SOLD OUT in less than 48 hours. All 75.000 tickets are sold.

Roskilde Festival 2013 was all about co-creation

The solid ticket sales at this year’s Roskilde Festival have generated great expectations for the festival’s profits which are donated to charity. And Roskilde Festival has yet again proved to be the place where the performing artists are overwhelmed by a fantastic and engaged audience.

Roskilde Festival 2013 will be remembered as the year when festival guests took over part of the camping area to co-create the innovative space Dream City. More than 1000 inhabitants of Dream City have shared, created, and helped each other to improve and expand their perceptions of life through innovative building and art projects.

Since very first metalcamp, we supported metal community and newcomers by giving you slots at 2nd and main stage and promoting you with all big metal bands that played at our festival. We are aware how important newcomers are, and will continue to support you in the future as well….but we will ask YOU to support us as well!

This year we had almost 1000 bands, from all around the world, applied to play at METALDAYS 2013.
We just wonder how many of those bands are supporting us by coming to METALDAYS as visitors?  …we are talking about 4-5000 band members that would like to play at METALDAYS!!! Considering how many tickets we sell for METALDAYS we know that not many of those band members are actually coming to the festival that they would like to play…and this appears not fair to us.
