To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Level 42’s double-platinum hit album ‘Running In The Family’, Universal Music are proud to announce the reissues of the album in Box Set, Deluxe Edition and standard formats on October 8th 2012. The album’s reissue campaign will coincide with an 18-date ‘Level 42: Running In The Family UK Tour’ throughout October.

Running In The Family was Level 42’s seventh LP and, following its release on 28th March 1987, became the group’s most successful album, peaking at #2 during a 54 week stay in the UK album charts. It also produced five UK hit singles: ‘Lessons in Love’ (#3, May 1986), ‘Running in the Family’ (#6, February 1987), ‘To Be With You Again’ (#10, April 1987), ‘It’s Over’ (# 10, September 1987), and ‘Children Say’ #22 Dec 1987)...

Mutiny On The Bounty, having recently signed to leading UK record label, Best Before, and releasing their second album “Trials” to much acclaim, are about to kick off their UK tour.

“Trials” was recorded in Seattle with top producer Matt Bayles, famous for his work with Pearl Jam, Mastodon and Fall Of Troy. Their math rock sound incorporates electronic elements and greater melody without sacrificing the complex musicianship that won them their original fanbase.

SHINING LAUNCHES BRAND NEW VIDEO FOR ‘TILLSAMMANS ÄR VI ALLT’…

Sweden’s Shining release their highly anticipated second video for ‘Tillsammans Är Vi Allt’ from their seventh full length album ‘VII / Född Förlorare’.

The video focuses around themes of addiction and obsession; a collaborative effort from Shining’s frontman Niklas Kvarforth and director Martin Strandberg.

Swedish model December Wiklund features through-out, as well as guest vocalist, the famed Swedish singer Håkan ”Nordman” Hemlin, who delivers a captivating performance with his anguish-fuelled rough vocals.

Black Country Communion the Anglo-American rock group comprising vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Trapeze), drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Foreigner), Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Alice Cooper, Billy Idol) and blues-rock guitarist/vocalist Joe Bonamassa, release their third album, ‘Afterglow’, via Mascot Records on Monday October 29th.

Like its two predecessors, ‘Afterglow’ was produced by Kevin Shirley, whose catalogue of hit records for Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith and the Black Crowes has made him the hottest producer that rock music has to offer. Shirley – who had the idea of putting Hughes and Bonamassa together in a band after seeing them jam onstage back in 2009 – is the group’s unofficial ‘fifth member’.

Scottish singer-songwriter, guitarist and harp player, Sandi Thom, will release her Rich Robinson (Black Crowes) produced new studio album “Flesh And Blood” on Monday Sept 17th.

Released by Sandi’s independent record label Guardian Angels, “Flesh And Blood” is her fourth solo album, and was recorded at 16 Tons Studios in Nashville. As well as producing the album, Robinson also plays guitar, heading-up a stellar backing band comprising Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman and guitarist Audley Freed alongside legendary Rolling Stones saxophonist Bobby Keys. The album includes a duet with the legendary Buffy Sainte-Marie (one of Sandi’s all time favourite artists) on Buffy’s classic “The Big Ones Get Away”.
