We’re sorry to inform You that Americans MASTODON will not play our festival this year despite their earlier confirmation. The reason is the band was offered great opportunity to tour the whole Canada on the same dates our festival takes place. Our negotiations led only to the conlusion that MASTODON will postpone their appearance to 2016. We’re very sorry but this situation was beyond our control. We’re working on getting another bands instead but the situation is very unfortunate. Regarding the line-up for this year, we want to pursue strong ’medium size bands’ line-up. This is our goal. In other news MUSHROOMHEAD and EMMURE also cancelled their show but we’re already negotiating about proper replacements. Next time some good news.

This new batch starts with French black metal commando ANTAEUS! Next new bands on the bill are melodic metalcore five-piece EVERGREEN TERRACE and post-punk rock veterans KILLING JOKE. Dark neofolk act ROME will be the premiere representative of this music genre at our fest. After five years of inactivity, the godfathers of djent and one of the best progressive metal bands post year 2000 – SIKTHare gonna play Brutal Assault! American post-hardcore act TOUCHÉ AMORÉ will join us alongside the psychedelia legends TROUBLE. The fans of modern progressive metal can mark VILDHJARTA show on their list. Main band of this update are fathers of mathcore – mighty THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN.

For a fee of 18 EUR you will get non-stop guarded camping in fenced sectors and other benefits such as toilets and washbasins, depository, 4-day pass for the natural ground, free pass to the showers and others .

Med 85 nya namn från över 30 olika länder kan Roskilde Festival nu presentera programmet för årets festival. Bland de nya artisterna finns den nya kungen av hip hop, Kendrick Lamar, som får sällskap av Ryan Adams, Die Antwoord, Nicki Minaj, Einstürzende Neubauten, Africa Express och Father John Misty. Sverige är rikligt representerat i år igen med bl.a. First Aid Kit, Thåström, Veronica Maggio, samt en exklusiv spelning med The Tallest Man on Earth med full orkester.

Internationella stjärnor som Paul McCartney, Muse, Florence + The Machine och Pharrell Williams har redan skapat höga förväntningar på Roskilde Festival 2015.
