Efter sju års frånvaro från Sweden Rock-scenen gjorde danska Pretty Maids en efterlängtad återkomst den 4 juni 2025, och visade med eftertryck varför de fortfarande är ett av Skandinaviens mest älskade hårdrocksband.

Spelningen på Rock Stage bjöd på en stark mix av klassiska favoriter och nyare material.
Redan från öppningsnumret “Mother of All Lies” stod det klart att bandet var i högform.

Ljudbilden var överlag imponerande – tydlig, kraftfull och välbalanserad – även om den stundtals påverkades något av den kraftiga blåsten, vilket särskilt märktes under gitarrsolon och körpartier.
Det var dock inget som på allvar störde helhetsupplevelsen.

Setlistan var väl avvägd och inkluderade publikfavoriter som “Kingmaker”, “Back to Back” och “Pandemonium”...

Det luktade öl, denim och nostalgi i Norje när Sex Pistols klev upp på scenen inför en publik som mestadels var där av nyfikenhet snarare än ren tillbedjan.
Men vad som utspelade sig under de kommande 75 minuterna var något få hade väntat sig: ett frenetiskt, ofiltrerat och förbannat levande återuppvaknande av punken – med Frank Carter som både antikrist och frälsare.

Setlisten lämnade inga frågetecken: från öppningen med ”Holidays in the Sun” till slutknallen ”Anarchy in the U.K.”, pumpade bandet ut klassiker med en nerv som trotsade åldern.
Det var tight men aldrig tillrättalagt – särskilt i ”Bodies” där varje trummanslag från Paul Cook lät som ett slag mot etablissemanget.

The titan of thrash metal Kerry King is heading to Brutal Assault! 

Kerry King is a thrash metal legend, best known as the co-founder and guitarist of the iconic band Slayer, a cornerstone of ”Big Four.” Across nearly four decades, King’s relentless riffs and aggressive songwriting drove Slayer to the forefront of heavy music with albums like ”Reign in Blood” and ”Seasons in the Abyss”. Known for his unapologetically brutal sound, King helped shape a genre and left an indelible mark on the world of metal.

Following Slayer’s final show in 2019, King launched his solo project, unleashing his signature intensity on ”From Hell I Rise”, set to release in May 2024...
