Those of you familiar with Camden’s club scene may already be in the loop about one of London’s most exciting new rock ’n’ roll club nights: JUBILEE which takes place every Friday night at Camden Barfly, 10.30pm – 3am.

Founded by Carl Barat (Libertines/Dirty Pretty Things) and Chris McCormack (3 Colours Red/Gary Numan) the night runs across both floors at the Barfly with a mix of established and up and coming acts, guest and resident DJs plus live burlesque shows most weeks.

For the first time ever the JUBILEE CLUB tour will hit the road, featuring three of Britain’s best new bands. The Vex, Electric River and The Howling have all graced the Jubilee stage over the last few months and they will now be appearing at venues around the UK during a seven date tour.

GRAMMY-NOMINATED rockers Shadows Fall have confirmed that their seventh studio album, ‘Fire From The Sky’, will be released internationally on August 13th 2012 via Spinefarm Records; the Massachusetts outfit’s last studio outing, ‘Retribution’, was also issued over here on the Spinefarm label (2009).

Recorded at Zing Studios in late 2011, ‘Fire From The Sky’ reunites Shadows Fall with long-time friend, producer/engineer & Killswitch Engage/Times Of Grace guitarist, Adam Dutkiewicz, whose previous production credits include both Devil Wears Prada & All That Remains. The album was mixed by Brian Virtue and features some of the band’s most complex and melodic material in years, including two brand new bonus recordings plus two exclusive live tracks.

Orchestral-pop songstress Erica Wexler has announced a free MP3 giveaway of a new track, Flesh, at her brand new official website www.ericawexler.co.uk

Erica has just completed her debut album Sunlit Night, executive produced by XTC’s Andy Partridge, and mixed by Andy Bradfield (Rufus Wainwright, Elbow, David Gray). The record is due out in September 2012, with the EP and lead single Wildflowers, coming out on June 25th.

Dinowalrus, fronted by visual artist and sometime guitarist of Titus Andronicus, Pete Feigenhaum, and backed by Max Tucker and Liam Andrew have released a new video for new single Beth Steel, out May 21st.

Directed by Argentinean Roberto Llauro the video uses the striking image of The Domino Sugar Factory as its centre piece – the same image gracing the cover of their anticipated debut UK release Best Behavior. Doused in electrifying hues and back dropped by swirls of galaxy it’s a trip offering welcome reminiscence to our own baggy scene, sparked by the likes of The Stones Roses, as well as to the band’s interests in krautrock, house music, post-punk and psychedelic rock.

earMUSIC, the Hamburg based rock label which is part of Edel Group, is proud to announce the July 23rd UK release of “The Duke” – Joe Jackson’s tribute to American jazz icon Duke Ellington. The album will be released on CD, digital download and 12” vinyl. “Ellington didn’t consider his own arrangements to be sacred,” says Jackson. ”He constantly reworked them, sometimes quite radically.
